This is my contribution to the Weekly Photo Challenge – The Sign Says It was taken in the glorious covered market in Florence a few years ago – as connoisseurs will no doubt be able to tell from the price. I don’t know what the sign says! I’d assumed it was the Italian word for artichokes but I’ve recently been told that would be carciofo. Whatever it means, the photo still transports me straight back to Florence, one of my favourite cities.
