I love technology, enjoy playing electronic games and agree both should be part of childhood. For many children,though, they are the only form of play with opportunities for imaginative play and outdoor adventures disappearing. When we share our news in class, some children only ever tell us what they have done in their computer game. So sad. I am a great supporter of the National Trust – Fifty Things to do Before You’re 11 3/4.
