I’ve tried to create the feel of old holiday memories.

I’ve been playing with masks and gradients recently, so I used them to create this underwater scene.

Beautiful in its own right, I decided to do something completely different and of course I couldn’t resist just a little touch of magic.

The Anping Treehouse in Tainan, Taiwan.
This is my interpretation.
To me, the original picture felt oppressive and sad and reminded me of the the forest of vines and thorns that grew up around Sleeping Beauty’s castle.
Am I a primary school teacher because I think like that or do I think like that because I’m a primary school teacher?
Following the Sleeping Beauty path, I cropped the image, lightened the shadows, added a rainbow gradient layer and finally added some magical sparkles and vines.
