Analogue games

This weeks WP Discover Challenge is Analogue.

I love technology, enjoy playing electronic games  and agree both should be part of childhood.  For many children, though, they are the only form of play with opportunities for imaginative play and outdoor adventures  disappearing.  When we share our news in class,  some children only ever tell us what they have done in their computer game.  So sad.  I am a great supporter of the National Trust – Fifty Things to do Before You’re 11  3/4.

  1. Nice post! Yes, it is sad to think that imaginations and creative play are not being used by children much nowadays. When I was a child there were no computers. We made up our own games outside and inside and I am thankful for that wonderful time in my life. I do enjoy today’s modern technology and often play computer games now but think there should be room for both.
