This week’s WP Photo Challenge is On the move.
We got stuck behind this glorious traction engine last week when we were less than a minute from home – or so we thought. We crawled along behind it for almost 10 minutes until it turned this corner.

On the move…but just barely. An enjoyable photo!

🙂 thanks Janet.
A genuine steam powered engine, I suppose. I’m suprised any still exist operationally in the public anywhere.
I think they all come out in the spring.
I remember these things being used in real life! The road engineer’s caravan would appear in a farm gateway for a time while he dealt with ditches and drains in the vicinity. Not good to be stuck behind though.
Not ideal!
Hate it when that happens – but you managed a great challenge shot out of it 🙂
🙂 thanks Tina
