Building Blocks of History 21st June

Things happen every day, big and small. Together they make our family history, our local history, our country’s history and sometimes they become part of global history.

All of these things happened on 21st June in years gone by.

In 1854 the first Victoria Cross was won in the Crimean War.

In 2003 the much anticipate Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was published.

In 1982 Prince William was born.

In 2014 we spent a glorious summer’s day at Flag Fen, a  Bronze Age site.

Due recognition,

lineages of devotion,

acts of bravery.
