Building Blocks of History 12th April

Things happen every day, big and small. Together they make our family history, our local history, our country’s history and sometimes they become part of global history.

All of these things happened on 12th April in years gone by.

In  1911 Pierre Prier made the first nonstop flight from London to Paris.

In 1961 Yuri Gagarin orbited the earth.

In 1992 Euro Disney opened.

In 2011 a sunny walk by the river in Bath.

Days of spring sunshine

and magical daydreams of

whimsical ventures.
