Things happen every day, big and small. Together they make our family history, our local history, our country’s history and sometimes they become part of global history.

All of these things happened on 18th January in years gone by.

In 1486 the marriage of Henry VII & Elizabeth of York.

In 1778 James Cook discovered Hawaii.

In 1882 A. A. Milne was born.

In 1991 my daughter explored Knaresborough Castle with her grandma.

 

 

The start of a new

Dynasty brings peace after

Thirty years of war.
