Building blocks of History 14th September

Things happen every day, big and small. Together they make our family history, our local history, our country’s history and sometimes they become part of global history.

All of these things happened on 14th September in years gone by.

In 1752 the British Empire adopted the Gregorian Calendar.

In 1812 The Fire of Moscow began as Napoleon’s vanguard entered the city.

In 1982 Princess Grace died.

In 1986 I escaped from work to explore the mountains.

Time is running out

For making your dreams come true.

Reality check.
