This week’s photo challenge is Nostalgic. This picture is of my beautiful girls, larking about, trying on Victorian hats in Warwick Castle. It brings back happy memories of many such outings during long school holidays before they spread their wings to become busy students. The hats and the castle also evoke a general nostalgia in me for times past which I find fascinating.

Another case of how fast the time flies … looking back to my photos of my own girls brings of nostalgia very quickly. When you are younger you long for days when they will be independent, and when they are, you wonder where it all went. It seems to be a cycle of life written in stone, a surety that every parent will experience.
How true.
