As you know one of my New Year’s Resolutions this year is to make meal plans to help with both budgeting and calorie counting. So far this hasn’t been very successful so this month I plan to join in with Mrs M’s Meal Planning Mondays.
This is the plan that I have put together this week:
MONDAY Slow cooked beef, with roast potato, Yorkshire pudding, carrots and
gravy – made by my Knight in Shining Armour.
TUESDAY The Skint Foodie’s version of Macaroni cheese with salad.
WEDNESDAY Heinz Lentil Soup and toast before governors’ meeting.
THURSDAY Turkey curry with rice and lentils.
FRIDAY Lightly smoked salmon fillets with green beans and new potatoes.
SATURDAY Delia’s Lemon Baked Greek Lamb with broccoli and the rest of the new potatoes.
SUNDAY Mother’s Day Meal arranged by children.
